Tabulate the function of each elements such as;
a) Kerning – is the process of adjusting the spacing between the characters in a proportional font, usually to achieve a visually pleasing result.
b) Tracking – are usually known as letter-spacing, refers to a consistent degree of increase of space between letters to affect density in a line or block of text.
c) Leading – can be refers to the distance between the baselines of successive lines of type.
d) Alignment – can be refers as a margin is adjusted so that the text falls flush with both margins, also known as fully justified or full justification.
e) Ligatures – two or more letters that are joined together to form one character. Two or more letters combined into one character.
f) Hyphenation – is the automated process of breaking words between lines to create more consistency a text block.
g) Rag – refers to the irregular or uneven vertical margin.
h) Widows and Orphan – Widows are usually one word, or the end of a hyphenated word. Orphan refers to it appears at the beginning of a column or pages.
